Another moment of awesomeness... Monica Raymund

Some people can say that they have lived their lives, experienced pretty much everything in their "to do list" and they can die happy! Not me... not until the other gorgeous superstar makes a comment about me... :)

What are you talking about, you may ask... well... I'll tell ya! Grab a chair...

As you all remember, I HOPE, last year, Fox aired a show called "Lie to Me", with an outstanding cast (Tim Roth, Jessica Beals, Kelli Williams, etc), characters, plot, camera work and direction. Of course they canceled it after 3 seasons to bring on the Chicago Code (I was actually featured in 2 of the 9 episodes I worked) to only last 1 season... go figure... anyways...

One of the characters in Lie to Me was Ria Torres, a "natural born" human lie detector, played by one of my favorite TV stars of all times, Monica Raymund. You may have also remember her from The Good Wife, where she played Dana Lodge, Law and Order and hope you will also keep her talent and looks in mind in the new series Chicago Fire where she plays Gabriela Dawson. Also, according to her IMDB she is a cast member in the Fifty Grades of Shay short, currently in post-production.

Speaking of Chicago Fire... we're getting close to the reason for this post... The show Red Carpet Premiere event took place not too long ago and CelebTV, where I proudly serve as a DP, was invited to interview the stars of the show. Of course, I couldn't have been more excited about this, given that Monica is in it! So obviously the first thing I was looking for, was the interview with her.

And surprise, surprise, guess who was the first on our list of awesome cast members of the new show, and what did she have to say... uncut and unseen anywhere else :)

Moment of "ahhh" begins after you press play...

Camera: Daniel Tomei (CelebTV)
Interviewer: Kelli Zink (CelebTV)

Now, Monica is checked! Thank you for the kind words!

On to the next superstar... And the winner is: Keira Knightley. I know my heart skipped a beat when Monica started talking to us and complimenting me, but I'm sure that I may need a respirator when Keira will. Don't know when that will happen and I don't care, I like surprises :) but hopefully before I die :)...

Going back to the topic... I just hope I like the Chicago Fire as much as Lie to Me, but I doubt it... I'll be watching it for Monica though :)
